Celebrating 25 Years of Dance

This year marks a truly special milestone for Jamie’s Academy of Dance as we celebrate 25 years of dancing, growing and creating memories together.

When I first opened the studio, my dream was simple. I wanted to create a space where children felt supported, inspired and confident to be themselves through dance. Over the years, that dream has grown into something truly beautiful, a community filled with passionate dancers, dedicated families and lifelong friendships.

I feel incredibly grateful for every student who has walked through our doors and every family who has trusted us with their child’s journey. From those very first steps in the studio to shining on stage, each dancer has played a part in shaping JAOD into what it is today.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead with excitement. Our commitment remains the same, to nurture confidence, creativity and a genuine love of dance in every student, while continuing to grow and create new opportunities for the next generation.

Thank you for being part of our journey. The past 25 years have been so special, and the future is just as exciting.

Welcome to Jamie’s Academy of Dance

At Jamie’s Academy of Dance, we strive to create a warm and secure second home for our students. Our dedicated and experienced team of educators are committed to helping each child reach their full potential through personalised guidance. We believe in providing an uplifting and safe atmosphere that fosters a sense of belonging for our students.

At our academy, students will form close bonds with one another, creating a tight-knit community. Our studio offers a refuge from the stress of school, where students can lose themselves in the joy of dance and focus on perfecting their techniques. With a supportive and inspiring environment, our students will thrive and grow in their passion for dance.

Our aim is to develop in the students a sense of:

  • Self-discipline and motivation.

  • Safe dance technique.

  • Knowledge of music, anatomy, nutrition and good health.

  • And most of all a joy in dance and performance.
